4. Review your life vision
It is imperative that you jot down your short term and long term goals. Taking only a few minutes to read and review your life vision can put your day into perspective. By reading your long term goals every day, you will be subconsciously and consciously thinking about your long-term goals the entire while. And, when you slowly work towards your goals, it will slowly start manifesting. A fundamental aspect of accomplishing your goals is writing them down and reviewing them every single day.
5. Do at least one thing toward long-term goals
Willpower depletes over time when it is exercised. After all, we are only human. Hence, it is necessary to do the most difficult tasks first thing in the morning. If you don’t do it early on, chances are, you won’t be able to do it by the end of the day too. Since you’ll probably be exhausted, you will come up with excuses to start it tomorrow. You won’t be doing yourself any favor by procrastinating. The worst must always come first. Hence, you must do everything in your power to take at least one step toward your big goals every day.
6. Be brutally honest
As we grow older, we start realizing that honesty might not be the best policy. Sometimes, it might be better to keep things to oneself. Hence, we bottle up a lot of our emotions in order to avoid hurting someone else’s feelings. However, when you need to get through a tough situation, it is best to be sincere, even when you know it may hurt the person. Therefore, you should try honesty once in a week at least; you owe it to the person and he/she might actually appreciate it.
