4. Don’t comb on wet hair
Chances of hair fall increase tremendously when you comb your hair when it is wet. That’s because the hair becomes vulnerable and is in a weak state when wet. However, if you cannot do without combing wet hair, you can do so with a wide tooth comb. You should be warned that too much brushing can cause hair damage and drastically increase hair loss. Therefore, it is best to use fingers to remove any tangles in the hair.
5. Lower your risk of diabetes
Diabetes is a common non-genetic reason for hair loss. Therefore, it is essential to control your risk of losing hair by lowering your risk of diabetes. You can take precautions by watching your weight and controlling the intake of sugar in your diet. By doing so, you will help yourself a great deal by preventing diabetes-related hair loss.
6. Avoid Hair Dyes
This one is really a no-brainer. You shouldn’t dye your hair when you are experiencing hair loss. By dying your hair, you will be weakening your hair and putting unnecessary pressure on the scalp, that can, in turn, cause the follicles to fall out a lot easily. And, when that happens, your hair will start falling like the rain on the peak of monsoon.
