10. Don’t be stressed
One of the main reasons for hair loss is stress. Stress causes oxidation, harming Coenzyme Q 10 and other anti-oxidants—oxidants that boost the scalp’s ability to produce energy—energy required by a hair follicle to grow, thereby accelerating hair fall. Hence, it is imperative that you remain stress-free if you need to combat hair fall. There are various ways to remain stress-free. Choosing to practice yoga and meditation can help get the hormones into perfect balance.
11. Remain sweat free on the head
The chances of hair loss increase tremendously when there is plenty of sweat on the head. The sweating gives birth to dandruff, which, in turn, causes hair loss. In order to remain sweat free on the head, one is suggested to use shampoo based on neem and aloe vera. People who wear helmets constantly are usually the ones to suffer from hair loss. That’s because sweat easily accumulates and blocks the pores leading to hair loss. It would be better if you covered your hair with a scarf before putting on the helmet.
12. Say no to smoking
There is a reason people say smoking is bad for your health. Apart from affecting your lungs, smoking also causes hair loss. When you smoke, you inhale carbon monoxide and it prevents the blood from transporting key nutrients and oxygen to hair follicles. The nicotine found in cigarettes narrows the blood vessels, which, in turn, stalls fresh hair growth.
